Replace the primitive behind an atom variable, one reference or all at once, with a compatibility filter and a preview before anything changes.

What changed

  • Pick a primitive and see every atom variable that aliases it
  • Replace one reference or all of them at once with another primitive
  • Filter candidate primitives by compatible variable type
  • A step-by-step wizard shows a preview before anything changes
  • Usage lookup stays responsive on large collections

Find & Replace started with a simple question: if an atom points at a primitive, which atoms point at this one? Selecting a primitive from the collection now shows every variable that aliases it, together with the layer paths where those variables are used.

From there you can point a single reference β€” or all of them β€” at a different primitive. Candidate replacements are filtered by compatible type, so a color primitive is never offered for a spacing variable.

The workflow runs as a step-by-step wizard with a preview before anything changes, and the usage lookup was reworked to stay responsive on large collections.
