Who we are

This page describes how the public website atomize.tools, the Atomize browser extension, and the Atomize Figma plugin ("we", "us") process information. The site promotes Atomize - Figma Design System Tools for UI/UX Designers & Teams.

Cookies & local storage

We may store your analytics choice in your browser's localStorage (not a third-party cookie) so we remember whether you accepted or declined analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) on future visits.

Google Analytics

If you choose Accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited for users in the EEA / UK) to understand aggregate traffic (e.g. page views, device type). We use Google's Consent Mode so analytics tags respect your choice before sending data. You can change your mind by clearing site data for atomize.tools; the banner will appear again on your next visit.

If you choose Decline, we do not enable analytics storage for measurement; essential site functionality remains available.

Firebase (Google Cloud)

The Atomize browser extension and Figma plugin use Firebase, a Google Cloud service, to store design audit results. When you run an audit, the extension saves the report to Firebase Firestore so you can revisit it later. The data stored includes design tokens (color hex values, font names, font weights, sizes), layout metrics (spacing values, component counts), contrast ratios, and a randomly generated session ID. No personal information (name, email, IP address, Figma account details, or file contents) is collected or stored.

Firebase infrastructure is hosted on Google Cloud servers in the United States. Firebase's use of data is governed by the Firebase Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy .

Google reCAPTCHA (App Check)

The browser extension uses Firebase App Check with reCAPTCHA v3 to protect against abuse and automated bots. reCAPTCHA runs silently in the background without user interaction and may collect hardware and software information (such as device and application data) for security analysis. This processing is subject to the Google Privacy Policy .

Microsoft Clarity

If you accept analytics, we also load Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited) to understand how visitors use pages - for example scroll depth, clicks, and aggregated heatmaps. Clarity does not load until you accept analytics. Privacy information: privacy.microsoft.com .

Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for optional analytics, and legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for operating and securing the site, balanced against your rights.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us through channels published on the site or product when available.

Changes

We may update this page when our practices change. Continued use of the site after updates means you acknowledge the revised notice where required by law.
